Zilant was a dragon and one of nine eggs brought to Earth by the venerable Drago. In Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer’s Curse Zilant bonded with a dying Rhonu before hatching at the end of the third film. Prior to Dragonheart 4: Battle for the Heartfire, Zilant was tragically killed by a lightning strike while flying through a storm.
